Fruit for All connects Sudburians who have surplus produce on their property with people who can make use of it. Volunteers pick or pick up the fresh produce and we deliver it to soup kitchens, food banks and other community food programs that serve those in need. In 2014, Eat Local Sudbury began a three-year project to develop the Fruit for All program.

In 2018 and 2019, Sudbury Shared Harvest operated Fruit for All on a very limited basis, because the program is very labour-intensive and our resources are limited at this time. If you have surplus produce you would like to share, the Blue Door Soup Kitchen is happy to receive donations. Their delivery door is in the laneway between Van Horne and Elgin Streets (right next to the downtown firehall). There is usually someone there every weekday, from early morning until about 2pm - just ring the bell and someone will come out. If you cannot deliver them yourself, please get in touch with Carrie.
