Are you interested in learning to lead garden activities for pre-schoolers?

By “lead” we mean that you will work directly with daycare leaders to schedule and carry out activities. Sudbury Shared Harvest staff will train and support you and provide materials, but you will lead activities on your own once you’re ready. 

This opportunity happens during weekday mornings. Some of the activities you could learn to lead are worm composting, seed starting, and planting and tending veggie gardens. If you’re interested, please contact tory@sudburysharedharvest.ca

You should have at least some experience with young children even if it’s just being a parent, grandparent, etc. and some experience growing veggies (but no need to be an expert!)
